Genoa is preparing to meet the challenges of the future on and off the pitch. In the coming months, the company plans to open several construction sites to redevelop the Luigi Ferraris stadium. Work will start next summer. An investment of about 15 million euros is planned, doubled in an equal amount by the other club in the city. The aim is to carry out structural and modernisation works. Last February, the club opened the new Football School headquarters at the “Begato 9 Stadium”, representing an investment in the youth sector. The projects don’t stop there. In fact, a significant restructuring of the Pegli sports centre is invisioned, which is where the team trains. During the summer break from the championship, work will begin on equipping the “Gianluca Signorini” grass pitch with stands, a gym and a media centre.
